Adoration is the first attitude of man acknowledging that he is a creature before his Creator. It exalts the greatness of the Lord who made us and the almighty power of the Savior who sets us free from evil. Adoration is homage of the spirit to the "King of Glory," respectful silence in the presence of the "ever greater" God. Adoration of the thrice-holy and sovereign God of love blends with humility and gives assurance to our supplications.

 La adoración es la primera actitud del hombre que se reconoce criatura ante su Creador. Exalta la grandeza del Señor que nos ha hecho y la omnipotencia del Salvador que nos libera del mal. Es la acción de humillar el espíritu ante el “Rey de la gloria” y el silencio respetuoso en presencia de Dios “siempre [...] mayor”. La adoración de Dios tres veces santo y soberanamente amable nos llena de humildad y da seguridad a nuestras súplicas.

Eucharistic adoration is a moment in which we stop and spend time before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament offering our prayers of petition, suplication and Thanksgiving, as well as simply spending time in relationship with our Living Lord.  Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is an extension of the Holy Sacrfice of the Mass where we adore the Jesus in the Eucharist during the celebration when the Priest says, "Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb." Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is an opportunity to grow in our hunger for relationship with Christ and his church. 

La adoración eucarística es un momento en el que nos detenemos y pasamos un tiempo ante nuestro Señor en el Santísimo ofreciendo nuestras oraciones de petición, suplica y Acción de Gracias, así como simplemente pasar el tiempo en relación con nuestro Señor vivo. Adoración del Santísimo Sacramento es una extensión del Sacrificio de la Santa Misa, donde adoramos a Jesús en la Eucaristía durante la celebración cuando el sacerdote dice: "Este es el Cordero de Dios, el que quita el pecado del mundo. Benditos los llamados a la cena del Cordero". Adoración del Santísimo Sacramento es una oportunidad para crecer en nuestra hambre de relación con Cristo y su iglesia.
